Statistics show that as a major transportation artery in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong High Speed Railway operated over 8,400 high-speed train services during this year's Spring Festival travel season. It seamlessly connected Hong Kong with 93 major mainland cities, including Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Beijing, Nanchang, Shanghai, Changsha, Wuhan, Guilin, Guiyang, Kunming, Chengdu, Shantou and Xiamen. Notably, for the first time during the Spring Festival travel season, high-speed trains departed from Hong Kong West Kowloon Railway Station to Wuhan, Xi'an, Jieyang and Shanwei. Additionally, new high speed sleeper trains with intelligent features were introduced on routes to Beijing and Shanghai, creating a new cross-regional commuting model of "overnight departures and morning arrivals."
